I can't get to all unsolicited pitches, particularly those on behalf of for-profit companies. News pitches from charities, social enterprises and researchers are welcome and appreciated.

About

I’m a Melbourne-based broadcast journalist producing live coverage and bulletins for ABC News, including emergency broadcasts on local radio and reports for the ABC Australia global satellite channel.

I work with journalists, editors and directors to cover breaking news. I scout, book and produce subject-matter experts for interviews on The World and News Breakfast programs.

In community broadcasting, I have led news production and training at SYN Media. I have also produced and presented bulletins on Channel 31’s Newsline, Vision Australia Radio and 3RRR.

At RMIT University, I received the Charles Blackall Scholarship, led the Swanston Explainer podcast during the 2022 federal election, and reformed governance of the RMIT Journalism Society.
