About
I’m a Sydney-based broadcast journalist (via Brisbane and Melbourne) producing live coverage and bulletins for ABC News.
I work with journalists, editors, directors and crew to cover breaking news live on the ABC News channel. Other work has included coordinating and presenting emergency broadcasts on the Local Radio network and filing reports simulcast on the ABC Australia satellite channel. I have scouted, booked and produced interviews with newsmakers and subject-matter experts for programs such as The World and News Breakfast.
As a volunteer in community broadcasting, I have led news production and developed journalism training at SYN Media. I have produced and presented bulletins on Channel 31, Vision Australia Radio and 3RRR, as well as nationally syndicated reports. At RMIT University, I received the Charles Blackall Scholarship, co-led the daily Swanston Explainer podcast during the 2022 federal election, and administrated the RMIT Journalism Society.
