Hundreds arrested after anti-government protests turn fatal in Bangladesh

Bangladesh's largest opposition party is urging supporters to block roads and railways for three days after violent protests in the nation's capital over the weekend.

More than 100 people were hurt, while two opposition activists were arrested - including the Bangladesh Nationalist Party's leader.

One police officer and at least three civilians died in the clashes, according to local media.
